Toms River Township
Toms River is the “County Seat” for Ocean County, NJ. With an estimated population near 95,000, Toms River is still one of the fastest growing municipalities in New Jersey.
With a total area of almost 53 square miles, 12 of which is water, life in Toms River offers a little taste of everything; from living on the Atlantic Ocean in the “Beaches”, to living on the Barnegat Bay or one it’s many lagoons, to living on the “Toms River” itself.
Of course, there is an abundance of life on the mainland of Toms River as well, which enjoys many of the same recreational amenities without the higher price tag!
Manchester Township
Manchester Township, NJ, is larger (geographically) than it’s eastern neighbors (Toms River & Brick) with a total area over 82 square miles; much of it Pinelands.
As large as Manchester may be, it is home to just over 51,000 residents, with many of them living in it’s wide variety of “Retirement Communities” or in it’s largest residential development, Pine Lake Park.
Brick Township
Brick Township, NJ, commonly known as “Bricktown” or just “Brick”, is the second most populous municipality in Ocean County with an estimated population of 78,000.
The township itself, covers over 32 square miles, 6 of which is water. Like her neighbor to the south, Bricktown offers a wide variety of lifestyles ranging from the Riverfront Estates along Princeton Avenue, to the beaches of “Mantoloking Shores”, to the lagoons off of the Barnegat Bay and many mainland communities as well.
Borough of Island Heights
The Borough of Island Heights, NJ, is nestled along-side the Toms River, between the Money Island and Guilford Park sections of Toms River Township.
Barely a square mile, Island Heights over compensates for it’s size and population (1,875) with it’s rich history and charm!
